This week, five New York City listings with great exposed brick caught our eye. There's a loft with brick arches and exposed beams, a carriage house with a tin-ceiling kitchen, and a home where the brick is painted white. These are the ones we liked, along with a few other details that made us stop scrolling. If you're into brick walls, this week's picks are for you.

Brick arches and exposed beams
This loft has exactly the brick-and-beam look we were hoping to find. We love the rounded archway, the timber ceiling, and how the brick carries through the rooms. Downstairs, a metal staircase and a skylight give the space a different feel. The tucked-away patio is a pretty good bonus, too.

Tin ceilings and a rustic kitchen
The kitchen is our favorite part of this carriage house: a patterned tin ceiling, dark wood cabinets, and a brick pizza oven all in one room. We also like the exposed timber around the staircase and the brick fireplaces in the bedrooms. It has a rustic, slightly eclectic feel, with a leafy garden to match.

The dining-room wall won us over
Worth Street is the more elegant loft of the group, but that dining-room wall has some grit. The faded lettering and graffiti-like markings are our favorite detail, and the reason we chose it for this week's cover. Beyond that corner, there are long stretches of exposed brick, tall windows, and a patterned white ceiling. We like the mix of rough walls and polished rooms.

Painted brick, warm wood
Painted brick deserves a place on the list, too. Here, we like how the white brick works with the exposed wooden ceiling beams. The long, open layout lets you see from the kitchen through to the front windows, and the wall keeps its texture even with the lighter finish. It's a relaxed change of pace from the red-brick lofts.

A more polished take on brick
We saved the most upscale-looking home for last. The listing imagery shows a wide brick arch framing a sitting room, with more exposed brick around the dining room and kitchen. We like the generous archway and the fireplaces, plus the rooftop setting. It feels more dressed up than the other picks, but there's still plenty of brick to enjoy.
